Clando Bi was created in Dakar as part of “Grand Voyage: Dakar,” a collaborative project between Master Cinema students and 15 students from Dakar, led by Franco-Senegalese filmmaker Alain Gomis. In just 21 days, the group shot and delivered five films and two sound creations — Clando Bi among them.

SYNOPSIS
Yadou is a clandestine cab driver. Diégui is a high school student, running late for class this morning. She negotiates a fare with Yadou and hops into his car — though she might have been better off walking: the car crawls along like a snail. Winding through the city, the two strike up an unexpected bond, trading thoughts on Dakar’s transformation.
